Tags
Tags allow you to group contacts into flexible categories for targeting and organisation. Tags work like “lists” in other marketing platforms — but are more versatile since a contact can have multiple tags at once.
Tags can represent:
A brand (e.g., Brand A, Brand B)
An industry vertical (e.g., Car, Insurance, Loan)
A source (e.g., Google Ads, Referral, Affiliate)
The main function of tags is to narrow down the audience a campaign will send to.
Viewing Tags
Go to Contacts > Tags in the sidebar.
The Tags page shows all tags you’ve created.
From here you can manage, edit, or delete tags, as well as upload contacts into a tag.
Tag Actions
For each tag, you can:
Edit Tag – Update the name, description, or colour.
View Contacts – See all contacts associated with that tag.
Upload Contacts – Add new contacts to the tag via CSV/Excel upload.
Delete Tag – Remove the tag from your account.
Creating Tags
To create a new tag:
Click New Tag.
Enter a name for the tag.
Add an (optional) description.
Choose a colour to make it visually distinct.
Click Save.
Best Practices
Use descriptive names for tags (e.g., “Insurance_Leads_2025” instead of just “Insurance”).
Apply multiple tags to contacts for better segmentation (e.g., Car + Google Ads).
Combine tags with segments to build highly targeted campaigns.
Regularly audit and clean up unused tags to keep your system organised.
