How to Build a Micro-Segment

1. Navigate to Micro-Segments

Go to the Micro-Segments section in Dripcel. You’ll see a list of your campaigns that are eligible for segmentation insights.


2. View Recommended Micro-Segment

  • Click the drop-down arrow next to a campaign.

  • Dripcel will display recommended micro-segments with projected improvements.

  • Example: Adding Date of Birth as a condition may show a projected +75% increase in campaign effectiveness.


3. Build Your Segment

  • Click Build segment from selected.

  • Review the summary of the micro-segment’s conditions.

  • Add or remove criteria to fine-tune the segment to your needs.


4. Finalise & Apply

  • Enter a name for your new segment.

  • Click Create Segment.

  • The micro-segment will be applied to your campaign, letting you immediately capitalise on insights from your custom data.


Best Practices

  • Start broad, refine later – Begin with recommended fields, then narrow down.

  • Test & compare – Run A/B tests between micro-segments and general segments to measure impact.

  • Combine with automation – Pair micro-segments with recurring sends for maximum efficiency.
